Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness Services

Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy involves the use of one's hands to improve mobility of joints and soft tissues. Various techniques, such as joint mobilizations or orthopedic manipulations( known in the human health field as chiropractic), soft tissue mobilizations, massage, and passive range of motion techniques help to decrease pain and inflammation and optimize function. Manual therapy is an effective and non- invasive treatment option. Most patients become very relaxed during treatments, and beneficial results are more often noticed within 24 hours of treatment.

Underwater Treadmill Hydrotherapy

Aquatic therapy uses the therapeutic properties of water to improve range of motion, strengthen muscles, and boost endurance, while reducing the risk of injury. Water therapy can aid in the rehabilitation from soft tissue injuries, postoperative orthopedic surgeries, neurological impairments, osteoarthritis, muscle weakness, geriatric care, and weight issues. Our treadmill has an incline and resistance jets as well as adjustable water temperature and 2 doors so the animal doesn't have to turn around to get out.

Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy treatment is a non-invasive therapy that makes use of intense beams of light of specific wavelengths to help reduce pain and inflammation. LASER stands for ‘Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. When the light of specific wave lengths are targeted to a particular area of the body, physiological changes take place in the cells. This process is known as phot biomodulation. In contrast to surgical lasers, the therapeutic lasers gently pass through the pet's skin without breaking the skin or causing discomfort.
